Old city Utrecht

2018

A view in the morning in the spring in the old part of Utrecht / The Netherlands.

Mondriaan windmill

2016

This is my impression of the windmill at the river 'Gein' in Abcoude, pritty close to Amsterdam. Mondriaan was so inspired by this location that he made about 20 paintings about this subject. This is my first impression.

Vinkeveen

2015

A scenery with at least 50 shades of green. Between all that green is is particularly colorful. The trees mark the route of the former railway line Nieuwersluis - Haarlem. These trees popped up when the trains were disappeared. Part of the route is now a hiking trail.

Summertime in Wilnis

2014

On a hot saterdaymorning a speedboat passed the windmill in Wilnis. The sheep are not moving but the water is now a distortion mirror.

John the Baptist church

2013

When you are walking on the formal train track Uithoorn - Nieuwersluis this is the view on the John the Baptist church on the border of the villages Wilnis and Mijdrecht. This area is where I live. This painting shows the typical wooden grill, the cows and the church (on the 'dikes' around the low 'polder').

Dancing Seegulls

2012

Dancing Seegulls above the wave breakers.

Deventer historic city

2012

In the historical heart of the city Deventer in The Netherlands you can find this street: Walstraat. This painting is completely made with the palet knife technique. Each move must be correct in one time. Including the use of mixed colors. The results were several times surprising, but at the end it is a very nice picture of an interesting place.
